Sixteen South

Sixteen South is dedicated to the development, creation and production of premium children's television for national and international broadcasters. They work in live action, puppetry and animation - and produce preschool and tween shows in the genres of comedy, entertainment, drama and learning.
At Sixteen South they love telling stories. Stories that make their young and not-so-young audiences stop and gaze at the awe and wonder all around them. Stories that entertain and bring a thrill to their lives.
They have been fortunate to have been invited to partner with some of the world's most highly respected names in children's television to produce shows with them - including Sesame Workshop, The Jim Henson Company and the BBC.
Since 2008, Sixteen South has have produced over 31 hours and 144 episodes of premium children's television for the networks and are now ranked as one of the UK’s top indie producers by Televisual magazine.
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, a city reborn with a new spirit, a creative determination, a passion for quality and a lot of pride in its creative community, which was recognised in 2010 when Sixteen South was awarded Belfast's ‘Creative Industries’ award.
They work as a ‘big family’ and have a very flat management structure with a strong full time development and production team. They believe in fun and their passion for what they do runs through everything they do. Sixteen South share their success and actively recruit passionate young people to spend time shadowing their crew, cast and talent.
The world around us really matters to Sixteen South and they have committed to donate 10% of their net profits each year to their chosen good causes.
